This thing is awesome! it comes with an extension to mount on any metal. I put it in the basement and it gave me an advantage of one extra bar over my old PCI wireless card. So far it browses the web at a much faster speed and I love it. I just need to buy a cone for it now to extent its range even further. Great buy!

Wireless card works great. Gets outstanding signal. Comes packaged with a nice larger antenna. Excellent value for the money!
Two notes:
Had to download new drivers from the manufacturer website to get it working with Windows XP -- drivers on the CD did not work out of the box for me.
Supposedly does not support WPA (but I haven't tried).

Bought this card for an old Dell Optiplex system I fixed up for my 72 year old grandfather who wants to learn to use the internet. He dose not have the internet but lives across the road from my uncle who dose. The signal was excellent,(7dbi) not only could I pick up my uncles network I also picked up 5 others, one of which I know is well over 500feet away. The software that it came with works great (On XP). The software let me add more than one automatic network connection so if my uncles goes down it will just piggy back off a different network without my grandfather even knowing it.

I bought this because my Linksys adapter quit working for some reason. I installed the adapter, the software and followed on screen instructions and it went on line without a hitch. I'm very satisfied, if I ever need another one, I'll get it here.

Performance is just a little slow compared to the card I replaced. However for the price you can't beat this wireless network adapter. It works great.
