Does just what I need it for! I bought this and another brand, they both work great. I have plugged all types of drives in this without a hitch.

Just what I needed to retrieve some data off an old laptop drive. Would have given it solid 5s, but the power connectionis a little flaky. As long as I don't bump the drive or cable it's fine... I probably wouldn't recommend it for permanent installation without some superglue or something holding that power header tight. |

I needed to transfer technical data from my old laptop hard drive to my office machine, but my external drive box would not accomodate the laptop's smaller drive. So I went to Tiger, found it in a matter of minutes, and it works perfectly. It is the best seven bucks I have spent in quite a while... Thank you, Tiger! |
