bought 2, one for a dell b130, the other for an acer 5315-2077, both performe well, deffinately sped up both laptops. for the cost i would advise people to get this memmory. . |

I have purchased several of these over the last few months and I have a 50% failure rate using Memtest. This company is slipping. Maybe that's why they are cheaper. |

Bought 2 sticks, didn't install right away. Laptop was erratic when I finally did install (outside tiger return). Centon Tech support gave detailed info to check memory. Both sticks were bad. I had to send back to Centon ($4?), but the new ones checked out and they really helps the laptop go. Centon was helpful and I'm satisfied. |

*****PROS: Speedy, Very little plastic used in packaging
*****CONS: Gets very hot, no instructions
*****REVIEW: This is a good product. But its RAM, there isn't much to say. Note that it does get significantly hotter than one may think it should (under constant use).
*****IDEA: I built a wood table about 4 inches high with a built in 5volt computer cooling fan attached to a USB cable. This way the computers powers its own cooling fan. Plus it's very quiet. You could also buy a commercial laptop cooling fan. |
