I bought this for my wife's computer by specs, it was as close to original as I found, however, it din't work in the computer. had to send them back. It is not this website's fault, it was mine. I have since re-ordered from manufacturer and hopefully it will be correct chip.

Have upgraded several HP & Compaq notebooks. Memory upgrade is simple and effective. However, price is volatile - and unfortunately has been up for a bit. Generally, is a good idea to track pricing for a few weeks and buy when it is down.

This came with a barebones kit. Tried to load XP Home and XP Pro for a week. Kept getting various errors. Finally got one that referenced memory. Pulled a Kingston 2 GB strip out of anothr computer. Problems gone!!! Stick with a known brand!!!!!!

Bought the 2Gig module to max out the Acer Aspire One netbook from it's standard 1Gig.
Suddenly Windows7 Starter is usable again!
If you have this netbook get this memory, 'nuff said.
