when it comes to large lcd tv's this one is gold, i downgraded in size from a 72 inch projection to the lj 42inch, i'm glad i did, the picture is 300 times more crisp, brighter, yet clear, another thing that sold me on this tv is when i saw it in best buy, i noticed right away its screen reduces glare by about 80% compared to others. you will be happy with this lg. |

Arrived within normal shipping time frame via truck. Got instant praise that night right out of the box. Was having a party and was setting up the tv at the same time and everyone absolutely loved it.
Played with all the features and audio controls right away and absolutely fell in love with the thing. It's a very beautiful tv and an amazing picture. Only thing I don't like is the room I have it in is relatively small and I'm well within the suggested picture viewing range and it DOES pixellate...but you have to realize that it's a 42in tv and I'm sitting within 5ft of it. From the regular viewing distance, it was a perfect buy. Have yet to connect my computer to it via RGB to test it out, but I have pretty good faith it'll be pretty nice.
Suggested buy to all my friends that were also looking at tv's. |

I had an off-brand LCD HDTV and wanted to add a larger, better set to the house. I was immediately impressed by how much brighter this set was than my current one. This is a good looking set that works very, very well. I've had the unit for about a month now and have had no problems at all. I really like the relatively large number of inputs; this allowed me to do away with the switcher I was using previously and run everything through the tv. I highly recommend this unit. |

Local store wanted $312 more for the same unit. Only problem was the tractor-trailer couldn't get to the front of my house. TV is great and that's with standard satellite programming - can't wait till I get the HD channels. |
