Excellent product quality - batteries last forever, installation a breeze!
glasses are kind of heavy though, but they do fit over prescription glasses;
3D quality heavily dependent on game - CoD4, Fear, FarCry are stunning (you won't want to go back to 2D anymore!) but others (BioShock, Oblivion) need to have important visual effects turned off or else it will be way too distracting;

NVIDIA 3D Vision Stereoscopic Glasses
I've used shutter glasses for a long time now, so this purchase was an upgrade rather than a new investment. Overall, the package is great. nVidia has always been an excellent supporter of stereoscopic gaming, and this package reflects that dedication. Flicker problems are null with 110-120Hz refresh rates, but may cause ambient lights to blink (120Hz is a harmonic of AC 60Hz). However, the box and accessories included in this package are some of the best I've seen.
Ghosting is still existent, but only in the presence of pure whites (rare for today's gray-heavy games). The glasses are comfortable, although still a bit heavy, and not headphone-friendly. Also, there is a bit of discoloration along the edges of the lenses.
Game support remains limited, but is growing rapidly. Be prepared for a lot of tweaking with the settings. Overall, highly recommended for those that want to take their gaming experience to the next level. |

NVIDIA 3D Vision Stereoscopic Glasses
After 2 days of use, here is my family's take; Good Overall Design, works well with 120 hz DLP TV and MultiMedia Center Games, 3D Movies look stunning with this. Only negatives are ambient light causes lenses to stutter some so a nearly dark room or very close use is required. Second negative is the storage pouch could have been more robust at this price point, overall good purchase.

NVIDIA 3D Vision Stereoscopic Glasses
I have been using Nvidia's 3D Vision setup for approx. 1 year now running Windows Vista 64bit. All I can say is this product will change the way you game forever. It is truly an amazing no flicker, no ghosting, Hi-Def gaming experience. This concept has been around for some time, however it never really worked till now as it was always used as a passive technology. Nvidia is using an active approach, which basically means that the IR emitter is sending 60Hz alternately to each eye to give you the 3D illusion. Hence you need a 120Hz monitor. Also check Nvidia site out for proper graphic cards and also they have a list of games that work from poor to excellent. The good ratings are okay and the excellent ratings are just that. I have just finished Dragon Age and the 3D takes you to another level. Truly Amazing. You will not be dissappointed with this product as long as you do your research. |

Immersion is the future of gaming. Nvidia’s wireless black GeForce 3D Vision
glasses are a completely new step into your gaming world. Uncloak a magical
dimension in your games with these Nvidia GeForce 3D Vision glasses.
NVIDIA's 3D Vision is pretty impressive and you'll absolutely want to replay
several old games just to experience them in 3D. Combine with this top of
the line Samsung monitor, your PC gaming experience will be more realistic than
ever!
All you'll need is a high-end GPU like the GeForce 8800 GT or better, GeForce
9600 GT or higher or GeForce GTX 200 series, and you're good to go. The
NVIDIA part of this kit features two major parts: wireless 3D glasses (using similar
technology to what you find in 3D IMAX theaters) and an IR (infrared)
transmitter. The IR box can connect to LCD TV, LCD display, and projector
or just about anything able to pull out a refresh rate of 120 Hz, though since
it comes with the 120Hz Samsung monitor you're all set.
The way this technology works is that each eye (assuming you have just two)
gets a 60 Hz refresh (way faster than your eye can see) meaning the glasses
blank the lens 60 times in a second, so that 120 Hz display yields smooth 3D
gameplay equivalent to 60 fps. I have tried the technology several
times, and I have to say, it is really a thrill ride. During the past
couple of events, NVIDIA has demonstrated the technology using Call of Duty 5,
Far Cry 2, Crysis Warhead, and Race Driver GRID and others. The
amazing part is that this 3D Vision tech works on almost every game, and
immediately boosts the replay value of games that you already have, making them
a whole new experience!
