I've had this machine since June, and it has worked flawlessly, although battery charge life is poor (hence the 2star performance rating). However, I cannot recommend this or any other Emachine, because their Tech Support is the worst of any product or software I've ever dealt with. Pray you don't need to contact them. Buyer BEWARE! |

i have had it barely over 3 mos and already it has a missing usb... yep, it fell right out AND, the touchpad no longer works. they have the WORST customer service on earth. i have to ship it to BFE to get them to ''see if their warranty covers it''. wtf? DO NOT BUY THIS or anything else from emachines. mine is made by acer... it was advertised as gateway. i guess it was a disposable computer cos it ain't working now! |

I am very happy with this purchase. Pleasantly surprised by the separate keypad. Touchpad is a bit too sensitive for my liking. Love the screen size and full sized keyboard. Great overall value! |

I bought this laptop as a means to communicate with the outside world, when I am at work. (I am a truck driver). So far, the speed has been terrific. It has frozen on me a couple times, but I am unsure whether that is a fault in the software that I've installed, or the computer itself. I have used this laptop for playing games online, watching DVDs, surfing the internet via wifi, and keeping track of expenses. It does all that I need and more...with ease.
The screen is very nice quality. In all honesty, I probably would have been better off going with the matte screen to reduce glare, but I prefer the gloss.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Highly recommended. |
