If you have read the reviews and are still unsure...you're crazy!! This beast is truly a beast!! It handles ALL that you throw at it!! I am a big Flight (FS) Fan (Pilot Wannabe!!) and I think for the first time I experienced what those games are all about! I was a tiny bit sad at first when I saw the specs with the lower resolution until I booted it up and found the surprise that I had received the better resolution 1920 by 1200!! Regardless, I would have been happy with the other resolution. This machine runs very well. I think it can match most other gaming rigs!! Don't hesitate...buy it when you get the chance!! |

This is a beastly laptop that caused me much grief before returning it. The biggest problem was the 'pulsing' of the CPU fan -- Incredibly Irritating!! It is a BIOS problem but Gateway does not have a fix. It is big, heavy, noisy and runs hot. If i still had it i would be concerned of the longevity of this machine. Bright blue LEDs on the front (HD & power indicators) are very distracting when watching movies. Mouse buttons are too noisy when clicked. This laptop is feature-rich and possibly suited for core gamers. I was looking for a professional, portable, sleek laptop and this was not it. |

This is a great laptop for the price. Lots of good things to say about it.
Pros: Will take 2 hard drives, good battery life, lots of ports like esata, hdmi, and firewire. Cons: It's heavy, you probably won't want to walk too far with it and its a bit tricky to find a bag that fits, the black finish shows alot of fingerprints, no bluetooth, eject button for DVD is in a stupid place as you hit it everytime you move the computer.
Support is useless, would not recommend this for people who need help all the time, or do not know how to reinstall an OS. You will get someone in India who doesn't understand you and can only give you the web site or call for paid support.
Unit I received looked like brand new, allthough shipping took awhile 3 weeks Screen could be a little higher res. |

What an amazing deal for a great laptop!! After seeing this on tigerdirect.com I jumped at the deal, and I haven't been disappointed. I have had it for almost 5 months now, and it has run great from the start. Amazing graphics, runs fast, and great look. A great deal for those looking for a gaming budget laptop. If you can get this deal, don't pass it up as you may never get it again. |

This computer was a major disappointment. IT DID NOT WORK. Would not even bootup. Apparently, noone bothered to test it. We waited 3 weeks to get a replacement, which does seem to work,losing 30 days of the 90 day warranty, since a month had gone by before we actually got a computer that worked. Emails and phone calls to check on the status of the replacement fell on deaf ears. Seller said call the manufacturer. The manufacturer said call the seller. The manufacturer didn't even answer the phone most of the times we called. We were told the new guy lost the replacement order. I likely will never order from this seller again. |
