We love the flip for what it does and the quality of the video. I wish it had image stabiliation. Lastly, we've had to take out the battery and re-insert it twice in order to get the unit to turn on. Considering returning it for that reason (only). Anyone else have the same problem? |

My flip is so easy to use and the quality of the playback is excellent. Downloading is easy. This is a very user friendly product. I love my new Flip. |

I knew, buying this, that it wasn't a high-end, multi-option, fully customizable video recorder. I just wanted something simple and fast and light, in a small package, for on-the-go type recording. It's perfect for that purpose. I've used it to record Christmas morning when half-asleep, fireworks with my kid, and small documentation-type stuff. For on-the-go video with good image quality, this thing is perfect! |

This thing has no battery life monitor, no menu, no options. It is truly point and shoot.
That said, it has good quality video and sound.
It had an issue not accepting a charge till I updated the software on the computer and the recorder. Works now. |
