For the money paid, this is a great deal. The speakers don't work well - but not an issue for me. The screen is clear and much better than the little 19 inch I had before. Love it!

Wonderful price for a 24inch Widescreen. But some of the features are annoying. First the quality of the monitor...well it sure seems like it was built or assembled in a third world country, with very cheap and light plastics all over. The total weight of the monitor is so light, that it feels cheap or even like a toy. It is worrisome that a small shake of the table might knock the monitor off. Then the built-in speakers are just an added annoyance. They are convenient and loud enough but have a very loud static noise emitting even when you are not playing any audio. And when you are playing any audio, then you'd have to turn up the volume really high to drown the static noise. I have unplugged them and am now using my old external speakers. I also think that the controls on top of the monitor are a little hard to reach in a sitting position and should have been placed on the sides or even on the front bottom.
