Heat
I have run Segate drives for years. I have never, NEVER had a single drive failure. If you have then you might look at your case. These drives generate heat, a lot of heat. If you have a poorly made case with no air flow,or are running one small cooling fan, guess what happens. Before you start ragging a good product, please check your setup and consider the possiblity that you may have killed it yourself.

Its good
Why are there so many bad reviews. I had his in my pc for over a year, and its been working flawlessly. The only disadvantage I have with it is I can hear it reading and writing, but then again who cares. Its works great.

Awesome For a Year
I got this hard drive for my computer. worked like a charm without flaw for an entire year before it failed. But it didn't fail because it was faulty, it failed because the computer i had it in (Dell XPS 430) had the hard drive slot positioned at the bottom of the case, where no air was circulating. Awesome awesome drive. Recommend it to all.

great drive
works like it should. i used a clining program to copy my old HD on to this one and it booted up on the first time. upgraded from a 160 to this 750 and im loving the free space.

Surprising
I have been running this hard drive in my work machine for roughly a month now and i am loving the buffer rate and disc rpm combo. I do a lot of data transfer for costumers through drives daily and I have been giving this hard drive a good work out. So far 1 month strong and very satisfied with the price, and performance of this drive.
