This item is a piece of crap. I purchased it because the other users give it 4 and 5 stars. However, out of the box, it did not work. I connected it to the LCD monitor, and when I turned on the power, the light just blink with the greenish color one or two times and then blacken again. the remote did not work neither.
Kworld Customer service is the worse.
_Check their website and this product is no where to be seen.
_Call the customer service phone # and got voice message machine. Left the message twice and so far no one is calling me back.

Great option for college bound students. it allows you to have dual use of your computer monitor. Especially nice with a flat screen monitor because of space issues. There are two monitor ports one in and the other out thats for direct display of the TV on the screen with the computer off. You also have a USB 2.0 port to display TV shows on your Windows desktop.
I also have my son's Xbox hooked to the box via the High Definition AV cable thus making use of the higher resolution of the monitor.
The only problem I had was properly hooking up the sound cables. If you daisy chain the cable, meaning sound out from the computer to sound in on the box then hook your speakers to the box there is a delay in the voice to the picture.
The proper way to hook it up is to have the kworld box sound cable to the sound card and the speakers to the sound card passthru.
The other issue was poor software but once I contacted Kworld they put a better driver on their website to download which fix my p |

This works okay, not what I expected. The video quality is okay, the price is effordable, everything is fine for me. The installation is okay. |
