you get what you pay for
Quality of the picture was not as good as Samsung or Viewsonic models that I've had in the past. I use it both as a TV and as a computer monitor. In the computer monitor input mode, it does not have an option to adjust the screen to 4:3 aspect ratio with a VGA cable. So, all my streamed internet video comes out with fat faces on people and widescreen format with everything stretched out wide unnaturally. This option is available in TV input mode so watching TV is OK. 4:3 aspect ratio may be possible with a HDMI or DVI cable attached to my computer but I won't know because my computer does not have a video card capable of HDMI or DVI. Documentation in the manual is unclear. However for the money, it's alright. So, I'm thinking I didn't overpay for this. I got what I paid for.

Check this one out!
This TV has a better picture than the LED models I was considering. The speakers are much better than most. My Hannspree arrived on the day promised, in excellent condition. Quick easy set-up. Very pleased overall. I'm using this as a TV in my bedroom. BTW, my silver AT&T U-verse remote was not compatible with this TV. AT&T shipped out a new black remote at no charge. Now all is good!

Really great value!!
It is a beauty!! I wish I bought two of these. Excellent quality at a great price!! The picture quality is good and hook was a cinch!
