I bought this new Alienware R3 Aurora for only 999.99 Brand New! I have built plenty of gaming PC's; however, this one is awesome. I did upgrade the video card to the EVGA GTX 560 2GB. Upgrades with the case design is a snap. The computer is beautiful and handles hours of gaming at high resolution. I love it. For the price I got it for during a sale, it just can't be beat. I have read where people paid to much for this brand, but I feel it was a steal at the price I paid for a new one.

Pulling the parts together and building myself is actually more expensive? For an alienware?
Yeah, the GPU needs an upgrade but beyond that, I can't see how this ISN'T a steal.

runs like a dream....excellent build quality. Was going to build my own system but this actually saved me some money. which comes out to about $1350, much cheaper than if i would have built my own system and i saved the time not doing it and i get a warranty. great deal.

I was contemplating about building my own pc, I picked out all the parts that would be needed and picked the same-similar parts this pc and the total came out to be $1,265.90 (10 Items)
This price for this is a steal, all you would need to do is get a better gfx card (for gamers) and up the ram which can be done for under $250
