This power supply is impressive. 100% modular, 80 Plus Gold rated, throw anything at it and power is smooth and constant. To me, seemed a little pricey but I believe it to still be a good value for all it does. Can't beat 5 year warranty. Only drawback I found is the power supply is a bit longer than std so it partially covered a 120mm case vent. I was, however, able to use an 80mm fan for that vent so not a total loss. I would highly recommend this power supply if you need clean power and a lot of wattage for the most ferocious gaming system. Well done, OCZ! |

I got this for my computer in my racing simulator. Its a quad core cpu with dual GTX460's. It has been running now for a few weeks and has performed flawlessly.
The quality is amazing what a very nicely built psu. Cables are quality with good connectors. Was very simple to install.

Pros: The 100% modular design is always the best choice for keeping cases clean and tidy. I also find that the 850 watts is perfect for running a high end PC with the capability to run graphics in SLI or Crossfire. Huge 12v amperage! So far so good after 2 weeks of use.
Cons: A little pricey, but we'll see how long it lasts. The stamped gold labeling on the PSU should be replaced with easy-to-remove stickers so you case doesn't look bad. |
