As others have stated, the docs don't add much value: I needed to add a 2nd network point in my rental apartment, and adding a 3rd adapter to my previous 85mb Netgear Powerline system was very expensive. These two-unit kits were inexpensive and very quick to setup. Now I can access my Tivos with no problem.

I have a file server set up in my workshop which is about 75 feet from my wifi router and has a brick wall between it and my router. The signal was weak and the data was slow. I bought the Power line adapter and now I have extremely high speed connectivity to the server.
I have a 220 V service to the house and the workshop so wasn't sure how it would work since 220v is basically two 110 v circuits. I first hooked it up in house just to confirm that it would work and it worked as advertised. I then took one out to the workshop and hooked it up to my server with the other end to my router and it works like a champ.
The only issue you should be aware of if you have a 220v supply to your house is that you put all of your devices on he same side of the supply.

I bought this product because I got tired of my low wireless or loss signal on second floor of my home.
Trendnet adapter worked right out to the box. Plugged on into my router downstairs and on into my computer upstairs.
