it's not able to stand vertically ( despite the vertical viewing angle in the description). The base is screwed in, making the monitor only stand horizontally. If you're able to flip the monitor vertically (like a Portrait perspective) the contents will automatically shift to fit a Portrait, but the base cannot be maneuvered as it's built in steel for horizontal purposes only. There is no VESA mount.

I am very happy with this monitor as a second display for when im using my 40inch hdtv for gameing. Good color, Clear picture and I really like the audio out and in jacks.
Note. make sure you set the display mode to YUV on both the monitor and your video card. took me a bit to figure that out and it makes night and day difference in the color and black level.
Cons. I didnt really see a difference in the 2ms response time compared to my 40inch hdtv when gameing.

Nice screen, good visibility, good value. Poor speakers and HDMI will not drive full resolution. Had it for a few weeks and find that it is a good value.

I have a dual monitor set-up and bought two of these to replace the Dell's I had. As soon as I turned them on I was sorry I bought them. The color on both of them is washed out like faded blue jeans. You can barely tell the difference between the green and the yellow in the windows flag on the start bar. Sitting side by side they were completely different screen colors, tones, tints, ect... I have tried and tried to get them to match up and they just won't. As soon as the Dell's get here I'm taking these back.
