I installed it and it seems to work fine without a hitch. I had an extra ramslot on my laptop so why not. Moved from 1 gig to 3. I really have not seen I huge difference in performance, since I use Linux ram is not as huge of an issue. But I can run more programs at once now smoothly. Also, the boot time seems to have improved some.
