The viewing angle is very, very bad. You literally have to be in front of the tv to view it properly. If not, the screen looks either washed out or very dark. The sound is not the best, but very livable; so no complaints. Other then that, the tv fits exactly where it has to. Very easy to connect and set up. If I had to do it all over again, I would've gotten a different unit. I expected more from viewsonic. |

As stated in the other reviews, the viewing angle is horrible. Speakers are tinny, but that is to be expected. When viewed directly, the picture quality for OTA is quite good. |

I've had the unit 4 days and now it has failed (will not turn on). As stated in a prior review, the viewing angle is very much miss-stated or embellished. For the best picture, you need to view the screen straight from the front. Views from angles other then the front causes the black and colors to washout and detail to fade. Also, the stand is flimsy which allows the unit to tilt forward. The tilting affects viewing. Pass on this one! |

This TV meets my needs for a small bedroom and works very well with a wireless signal transmitter/receiver set avoiding the need to run cable. I have not tried the ATSC reception yet, but will when I take it to the house in civilization (currently at remote mountain cabin). The only issue I have is the mis-stated viewing angle. It is not wide, but very narrow. You must look at the screen straight on for best viewing and the stand does not swivel to adjust. An adjustable wall mount would a good remedy. |
