This motherboard is a decent buy, If you have a LGA775 i would recommend this board or the XFX one.
The reason i bought this motherboard is my MSI one fried when trying to replace the Heatsink.
However even though this is a good mother board. Since this is the era of the I7, i would not get this motherboard again. I would get the X58 from Evga.
If your looking for a good replacement, then this is a good board. If you looking to upgrade from your current. Then its not a good buy. Go I7 or even Phenom
If you're using latest processors, don't buy this!

To use the latest generation quad-core processors you have to do a BIOS update, which is impossible without a processor that is compatible. I repeat, ALL DOCUMENTATION ON THIS MOTHERBOARD SAYS IT'S COMPATIBLE WITH LATEST GEN QUAD-CORE CPUS, NOT TRUE OUT OF THE BOX. EVGA is rather unhelpful and will charge you to ship a new one out, unless you send this one in first.
I run a computer business and am pulling all affiliation and backing of eVGA products. Customer service was horrible.

I purchased this to replace my dead 650i mobo. I installed my Intel Q6600 cpu, 2 ghz of Corsair mem and a new 9800 GTX card. My system fired right up and I didn't even have to reinstall XP. Very good deal for those who wish to do a similar upgrade or replacement.

I downgraded from the 780i FTW board to this guy after I killed the 780, and it works fine for it's intended purpose. Yeah it could have more USB ports and another ethernet but that is a natural part of downgrading. I haven't experienced anything that I did not expect. It suits my needs well.
