I bought one of this in april and last week it just turned itself off. It'll cost $750 to get it repaired because it needs both a new mother and a new prosessor. HP told me they could only give me a 20% discount on the repair. It only lasted 6 month!!!! and it'll end up in the trash. |

I had my HP Touchmsart for 2 months and it is a decent machine but still have a few things that needs improvement.The primary reason I choose the Touchsmart was to be used with home automation system.If you are looking for a touch screen display,it will make sense to buy a Touchsmart instead.A 20 inch monitor is about the same price of the Touchsmart and you still have to buy the computer.The touch screen interface works good.The device came without any scratch.This is my first Vista computer and compared with my old 2.2 AMD XP,the Touchsmart is slower.There was a dll wich I had to uninstall because was driving the CPU to 100% all the time.The graphic card have difficulty showing full screen video,specially HD.DVD writer dont like all the blank DVD brands, prepare to buy HP media[coincidental?].For using as touch interface for home automation is perfect.HP have a great product which can be improved.Wish list:XP version,Touchsmart software to be able to access all the functions &pro |

when i first saw this product i wanted one so bad and when i saw the price i got a little discouraged but then i came to my favorite tech site and found exactly what i wanted for a great price I love it and its features are really cool. |

Our church purchased one of these for use as a Kiosk in our foyer. We run a Powerpoint program looped for the people to interact with the touch screen. Currently we have information of our 50 missionaries we support with movies embedded. It is a wonderful machine and looks very attractive mounted in our wall. We can also use the built in webcam for security! This seemed to be overkill for a Kiosk, but it worked out great and we have many more options of use beyond our intentions. |

I bought two of these looking at the specs, I thought the space and management would be better for me. However, HP has loaded this with useless process hogging services. I get extreme page faults when opening applications and Windows Media Player skips on full screen option. Do not buy. |
