I use this splitter to duplicate my widescreen pc monitor on my 32 inch tv. There is no lag or loss in quality. The usb power supply connection is much nicer than having to plug it in to an electrical outlet. Does not take up a lot of space and it handles my largest screen setting just fine (1920 x 1080). Comparable value for the quality.
