Good phone but bought it assuming the bluetooth cell connectivity would allow a bluetooth earpiece to work with calls from a land line. It doesn't. You can connect your cell phone to the base and use this system as a home phone on your cell plan minutes but that's about it. While you can connect a land line to it (we keep both a land line and our cell phones) you can't take advantage of bluetooth technology by connecting those land line calls to a headset....would be nice.
It's Bluetooth!!

Great idea and works well as long as you have a reasonably good handle on bluetooth technology. Bluetooth can be frustrating and these phones are no exception. Still would recommend them as they do work well most of the time. I suggest placing the blutooth base as near to the center of your residence as posible and also recommend placing cell phone chargers and phones as close to the base as possible.
PS- Battery life on the handsets is exceptional.
Works as advertised

This system works really well. I have a Blackberry Storm and a Samsung Alias (wife's) and they both connect via Bluetooth without prompting and without any issues. I have one handset in the living room, one in the basement and I plan to add at least one more. I haven't figured out how to access VM from the handset yet(although I haven't spent much time trying). The sound quality could be a bit better, but considering the mix of technologies at work, it is more than acceptable. I do not have a land-line, so this solution is perfect for me. I come home from work, plug my cell in the charger and I don't touch it again till the next morning. Awesome!!
Nice phones

Works pretty much as advertised. Can't really compare to other BT-connected systems, but so far I had no problems. Audio sounds a bit noisy (more noisy than my old Uniden set which I am replacing)

I bought this phone. It is great except for problems with dropped calls. I bought the Cell Fusion and it stopped the dropped call problem. I would describe the sound quality as the same. This is a great idea to drop your land line. In my house my cell phone only works in certain rooms. I put the base in the room it worked and that solved the cell phone reception problem. It also charges the battery. Both phones automatically connect to the base when you come into the house. The GE is easier to set up. Generally, I have found Panasonic to be the best. But not this time. I suggest you buy the GE its half the money. Both phones feel the same. Dropping your land line saves you $26.00 a month and all those annoying charity calls.
