I admit I had high hopes for this laptop. On paper the specs are better than any other computer I've owned, but this notebook is a big lemon! First, you might have read about the sleep or hibernate issues already. Since I've had this thing I've had to cut the power by unplugging the power supply and removing the battery countless times after the screen goes gray. Yes, that's right, it's the gray screen of death now. I've seen nothing by way of a solution in all the web searching I've done. I've dealt with the gray screen as best I can, but now the thing won't even power up. I bought this refurb in August 2009. It's February 2010 as I'm writing this review. Probably THE shortest lifespan of any computer I've ever worked on. Going to give tech support a go now, but I thought I'd try to save any other people out there a lot of trouble by recommending that you avoid this purchase at all costs! |

I've had it about two weeks now. I also bought Windows 7, so I don't know what it's like with Vista. Haven't had any issues so far. Even though the video card isn't that great, it still works for playing some of the games I do, which I hadn't expected it to.
My only complaint is the color. Not because of not being able to see the keyboard, I don't know what those people are on about, but because the laptop isn't exactly the color pictured. If you want it because that one picture of it is really cool and coppery looking, you're going to be severely disappointed. It's much, much more chrome than bronze or copper. That being said, a complete stranger stopped by my table at the coffee house last night to tell me I had a gorgeous laptop! |

This is the first laptop I have ever owned. I love the 17 inch LCD and the HDMI is pretty sweet. 4 gigs of RAM and upgrade to MSW7 makes the computer fly. I do wish there was a tad more power to the CPU but at half price this things a steal. Couldn't be more satisifed. |

I've had a few problems with it since I have had it. Harddrive and memory failure cause me to have to replace them and I wish I would have got it with a 32-bit OS instead of 64-bit. I can't use my Casio keyboard with my music software. Casio don't make drivers to support 64-bit and they say... They never will. Oh well. This one was re-furbished and had a great price on it. I could have got a better system with a little more money. That's what I get for being a tight wad. |

Happy with the product. Have had it for over 6 months now and everything is working great. Upgraded to Windows 7 free with no issues. Great entertainment pc. |
