I needed a smaller laptop for travelling and I decided to try this one. I am very happy with my choice! It is very light weight, fast, stable and the screen is one of the best I have ever seen. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that it doesn't have a HDD CD light to tell you when it is accessing the drives. I like it so much that I bought my wife the newer model. |

If you're looking for something that lives in the borderlands between a netbook and a high-performance notebook, this is a good compromise. It's relatively small and portable but can definitely do more than a netbook can. One warning, though; even though the processor is 64-bit, it comes with Vista 32-bit installed. This means that if (when) you upgrade to Windows 7, you either have to install the 32-bit version or do a complete backup of your files and reinstall of the operating system to install Windows 7 64-bit.
In general, though, I am quite pleased with my purchase. |

The quality and value you can not go wrong for the price.I do wished the battery life was better, but it does ok. I do wish it had HDMI, but you can't have everything. Overall great deal |

for little money, you get a peppy dual core processor instead of the obsolete and glacial ones they generally install on these low-end, basic use models. this is a very competent and reliable laptop, an excellent deal. |
