I really like mine, for home theatre in the box, it will do a fine job. Everything that it is supposed to do, it does. If you want high performance equipment, DON'T BUY an in the box set-up, for that you go the component route, and spent a couple thousand. For those of us in the real world, this will do just fine. If I changed anything it would be a bigger sub, this one is adequate, but it could be a little deeper, maybe an 8inch sub instead of the 6inch.

The sound quality was good, but disappointed in center channel (not robust). The user interface is not easy to use and can not control speaker volumen on ALL 6 speakers. I experienced a problem with unit powering back on repeatedly after powering off and only reset by unplugging. Sent an email to Samsung and never received a response. I returned the unit and went back to the LG LBH335 (LOVE IT).

I had high hopes about this system, it was rated as the best HTiB on a internet review. I really wanted a good looking, sounding, easy to use system to compliment my same company tv. I was impressed with the bass response coming from a passive subwoofer. The small center channel sounded like a drive throuh speaker. I found myself going back and forth with the audio settings turning the center channel up to watch a movie and turning it down to listen to music. It was equally annoying that I would have to stop listening or watching to go into two different screens to do so. I finally decided I was done with this unit as it would freeze up watching a brand new Blu ray (Angels and Demons) After contacting Samsung customer no service twice nobody could figure out what was wrong, they instead insisted that it was a faulty Blu ray. Funny thing is, it played perfect on a competitor! Now will have to spend twice as much buying seperate components!

I've been pleased with the overall performance of this system thus far. The center channel could use some beefing up, it sounds a bit thin. I'm only really displeased with the wireless network in-capability...
