I've been using this TV for two months now and it has been a great deal so far. Picture quality is better than the top brands. I have it hooked up to a PlayStation 3 via hdmi and games look superb and movies look amazing. The 5ms response and 120hz refresh rate really helps with first person shooter games and fast action scenes.

I'm not the best reviewer because I bought this amazing value as a gift for my mother. Although it took a while to get here and a few phone calls it seems to be everything promised. (and I heard a rumour that they're not really refurbished!!!). Sorry I'm not gaming on it and I haven't attached my laptop to it yet - but so far, she loves it so I do too!!

Great deal and tv.When in game or bluray hookup it actually scared my 11 yr. old it was so real.
Downside: Some HD stations come in a bit weaker and you will notice piking at the top lines, this is a sort of shift created by importing 3 colors through component, it looks from a distance as dashes or a white line at the very top. Vizio says the only way to get rid of it is to raise vertical or ask cable to degrade pics to 720 (not acceptable) This does not occur with stations that send a strong signel, otherwise its great,Madens football scared even me it was so real its the best picture that technology can offer and frankly I hope it doesnt get better than this set. It would be just TOO much for most people, its that good!!!!

Looking for a great 42 inch TV without breaking the bank? Stop the search because, in my humble opinion, you just found it. This Vizio combines high quality picture with a price you just can't beat. I shopped over ten different stores and many more webstores before choosing this one. Why? Simplicity and value. The transaction was smooth, the shipping fast and the deal was, well, just hot! The awesome picture and sound that this TV delivers for the price set here, is amazing. I do encourage everyone to do their homework before making any major purchases, but for my money, this was it.
