this comes in a brown refurb box with a logi-tech logo on it stating it's a refurb, but when opened it is brand new in the package as you would buy in a store with no signs of it ever opened or used... seems to me it's overstock that didn't sell... from closed down stores... or however other way someone can't sell a new item and say it's new so has to say it's refurbed... either way get it since if I knew it was like this I would have bought more... |

Setup was easy. It even recognized a Nyko remote for my PS3. At $39.99, no complaints about lack of rechargeable batteries, small buttons or what it doesn't program. This is the best deal going and it works exactly as advertised. |

It took me three tries to get everything set up, but that was because I forgot to include my cable box in the first go-round. All my devices were in the database, and with a little extra step of teaching one set of commands directly to the remote, I am now able to control everything with one unit. Buttons are a bit small but completely usable. Help feature straightens things out when they don't work quite right. Great device if you only have three or four things to control. |

Purchased this remote for home use in Feb 2009. The first one was a refurbished unit and it never worked fully. Within a few weeks, the batteries began leaking inside the unit. After several emails to the manufacture and trying to sort through asinine follow up system I received a replacement. The replacement has been a disappointment as well. Most buttons need to be pressed several times to make them work and the need for continuous use of the HELP button to get the right components to work or shut off would not make this my first choice. Also, the LCD screen is very dim and the print is small. |
