I also bought this laptop for my wife who returned to college. Wanted to get her something to replace her (Dino Dell desktop) she loves it. She just says now I have two computers, Oh Well I tried. NICE!! computer by the way. |

Got this laptop for the wife to use, she had a work laptop but had to give it up after being laid off. She mostly just surfs the internet and writes emails. This works perfectly, and she also now watches movies on her laptop, and TV on the internet. Enjoys the large screen, thin construction, and decent battery life. She also loves the red color. |

This is my backup laptop. Im currently deployed overseas and needed a backup laptop. This laptop is more than enough and at a great price. The quality is not that great and neither is the overall performance but for a laptop under $500 this is the laptop to have. |

WORKS WELL THUS FAR. HAS MOST FEATURES NEEDED FOR HIGH SCHOOL AGE STUDENT AND THEN SOME. NO COMPAINTS FROM HER SO MUST BE GOOD PRODUCT. A BIT WORRIED ABOUT BUYING GATEWAY AND REFURBISHED BUT HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS OTHER THAN BATTERY ONLY LASTS 2 HOURS. |
