The Belkin unit seems OK but the software and support documentation is very poor. It looks like the typical stuff out of China if you are buying cheep.
Belkin has two softwares. There is the Belkin Bulldog Plus that everyone raves about and has all the neat gages and stuff. Then there is the software this thing comes with. Belkin calls it Automatic Power Management Software. But it can be downloaded from the web for free as Winpower. It is not nearly as good.
Belkin website does not provide power vs time (power curve type info) info like APC and others nor does their software give an estimate like APC’s software does.
Nowhere have I been able to find a load vs time information like APC provides. Nor does the Belkin software give you an estimate as the others do. The ''38 Minutes Backup'' time that is on the box and you see on many websites is not documented anywhere. What is documented in the Manual is 5 minutes at half-load (200 watts.)
