We recently purchased this digital writing pad to use for auto trip notes and for me to take Engineering meeting notes without having to have a laptop siting in front of me during the meetings (a big distraction for the meeting, in my mond, at least).
The pad works great. The software installed easily and quickly without any loading problems. After writing a sample page, the pad connected to our netbook without any problems and the information download quickly and accurately. We also purchased the OCR software to convert the pad output into Word program ready data. The OCR software could still use some work (was about a 90% recognition rate - not bad, but not perfect either) - but at least part of the problem was probably my handwriting.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone needing a digital writing pad - it works great and the upload to the computer is easy and effortless. |

Great for just jotting memo's or notes. Also can be used for drawing quick sketches. Only minor problem aligning lines on paper with computer lines. Otherwise great product and would recommend to others. |

this is okay it sometimes gets black strikes through it. it is not even the size of a normal piece of paper plus you can't write near the edge otherwise it gets cut off. i would not reccomend this to most people. |

I recently puchased the digital notepad and was very pleased with the performance and ease of use of the software to display and convert the file to other types of formats for viewing. I purchased it to use for sketches for parts I am machining so I would not have to worry about losing the original drawing. I think this will be a great tool. |

I'm starting out as a writer and I’ve struggled for years to find the time to type up my hand-written stories. I finally discovered and purchased the ACECAD DigiMemo 692 about a week ago, and I can't believe I didn't purchase one sooner.
The tablet is nice and lightweight, so I can pull it out in a café, in a waiting room, or in the subway/underground. The pen has a rubberized grip, which makes writing more comfortable, and the pen’s ink is standard and readily available. I’ve seen people complaining about the paper size, but it seems that the 6 x 9 notepads work just fine.
The handwriting recognition software (not available with the tablet) works very well, and with the training sessions, has very few mistakes. My husband tried it, and the software could even read his tiny chicken-scratch that even I have difficulty with. I also find the process of going through to check for accuracy helps me with the editing process.
I can’t recommend this product enough! |
