I have been use this switch for several months without any problem. One of the best I ever had. What happened to the other reviewer should be the type of video connection. DVI is much brighter than normal VGA. Some cards have dual video output, normally VGA/DVI. Surely he is connecting the VGA output of his card to the KVM switch. My sugestion is to acquire one video card with 2 DVI output.

I have purchase many KVM switches, this one is the best I have found. I use this switch on 20 of the 30 lab bench setups to switch one monitor amoung 4 other computer driven instruments and have not had one fail. Don't know what the other guy's problem is but by far this one has the best features for the buck.

I like the concept of this KVM switch with the sharing of peripherals and the Ethernet switch but the quality is terrible! I have had this for 6-8 months and I have already had to send it in once to be replaced and am having the same issue. For some reason, the contrast on the monitor is dark when using the KVM Switch. One of my computers has a dual video card and the second monitor on the card is fine but the one that goes through the KVM switch is very dark.
