I needed to up grade my eMachines W4885, if I wanted to play pc games like - Driver, Delta Force, Half life and Doom. And for around $160 back then it was worth it, it was very easy to figure out,install and set-up. And to this day - I am still using this very same card, while I'm gaming away on DF, BHD, SnA, JO TR, JO E, JO IC, JO IC:E, Reality, SG and the two new mods AW2, DF2. This video card has given me nothing but great performance, and with a new flat screen it is even better now. |

This card is easy to install and after you get the 64 bit drivers from ati it works great. Getting it to work with 64 bit ubuntu 8.04 was a little more fun. But I got it to work flawlessly. All in all a good unit. So I guess you could say ''I'm happy''. Art |

I just bought this one yesterday, It runs oK, but not very good for CatiaV5 programs, I have to exchange to get something else. If you want it for graphic design , you should not get this one.

Bought this to replace an even older technology AGP video card with a noisy fan and only 128MB of memory. Installation was a breeze and the card works as advertised. I do see a noticeable improvement in on screen picture and video quality. Highly recommended if you still need to use the AGP interface. |

Great Price and Great Features.For the money this is a GREAT deal. A 256mb card for the price of a 128mb card yes, I will take 3 please.Installed perfect.

Great value and features if the thing worked.
It didn't install right even after several tries. Then I had to visit the ATI website to get the right software. Even after all of that I crashed my system repeatedly. I won't be buying another ATI card.
Overall a poor experience with ATI and trying to return it. I bought the Assurz insurance and the chick treated me like an idiot. I have installed harder things than a video card and this was a disaster. |

I acquired a DELL Dimension 8100 PC @1.2Ghz, it's an older (2001) machine that uses RAMBUS memory. I loaded Windows 98 but I just couldn't get Need For Speed - Porsche Unleashed to work with my nVidia cards. After I got this ATI card it was like watching a movie. ATI has the most stable graphics drivers on the market!

I was running a 9250 when I bought Battlefield 2142; the video was choppy and I was frustrated. I bought the 9550 hoping for a better result. THe change was exponential!!! My background alone jumped out and tore a hole in my grey matter. I have never bought an economy card that produced such an astounding effect!!. And just to give an idea of what I run:
AMD +2800 BC, 1 GB DDR, Giga-Byte 7vt600 MOBO, processor OC 12%, Audigy 5.1, 80 GB maxtor HD.
Flawless execution.
Majority parts from Tiger Direct!!!

Absolutely no problems. Easy install w/Win XP. Everthing load no problem with no conflicts in an older Sony VAIO PCV-R650. Replaced original 64mg NVidia card. Computer runs 24/7. No problems with overheating or anything at all. Very pleased with this card. Will consider other ATI products. |
