The D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-G650 CardBus Adapter for laptops includes
Super G™ technology that offers transfer rates up to 108Mbps and features the

this is a little hard to get going,like others have said the driver that comes with it is garbage.go to D-links site and download and install version C this solved my problem.win XP-
this why i gave features 1 becasce software is a feature.it took me about a half hour, thats how long it takes me to build a computer. |

Got this for the price (great deal). Just remember these are referbs. Mine arrived with nicks & a dent on the connector plate. So I try it and suprisingly XP still pick it up. I had to download drivers from there web site. The ones installed by microsoft kept crashing my system. If I need more of them, these are the ones I'd get. |

My first wireless adapter for my laptop. I have no clue how this thing does but it did well on my first try. I am not using D-Link's software application but it actually works when I am using Windows XP Wireless Networks Connection. All I did was have Windows XP WIreless Network do the autoconfiguration. The adapter automatically detected all the active networks around. I worked on the 13th floor. The signal is so strong the adapter got the 14th floor's and 12th floor's network hotspot signal also. All I did was typed in the network key ID and I am connected. The adapter came with a installation CD. I did not used the driver on the CD but instead downloaded the 3.05 version. The adapter seems brand new to me. I can't believe it is refurbished. For now, I am very impressed with my purchase!!!! |

I bought 2 of these cards for my wifi setup at home. Slipped them into my laptops, installed software and I was online. Easy setup. Definately a best-buy for your money. |

I don't know about other people but my wireless card came with a installation cd. Even though I'm a computer tech it actually took me some time to install it. It wasn't because of wait times it was because of trying to figure it out. Once I did I rated this product 5 out of 5. I get excellent connection when I am in my basement and my wireless router (Netgear Wireless Super G Router) is all the way up stairs. Great Product. I highly recommend if you don't want to pay a lot for a GREAT wireless networking card for your notebook. |
