I'm using this headset on my computer with a GTX 9800 sound card configured for 5.1 surround. The reproduction of sound with this headset is simply amazing. From the deep bass passages to the background pulse of the ride cymbals, these headphones gather and present it all with superb clarity. When I watch a DVD with them on, it is theater quality sound. They are lightweight. They don't slide around with head movement. The cups fit very securely over the entire ear and are so comfortable I have on occasion forgotten I have them on. Sennheiser has by far the best headphones on the market I have the hd-600's I use for gaming and I bought these for leisure. Comfortable great priced headphones with by far best quality on the market better than bose and nothing you can get from wal-mart can surpass sennheiser's overall quality, performance, value, and assurance. A must have for sound enthuisests. The headphone encompassing your ear brings the music to a greater experience than ever before. Overall it gets my vote as a 5. Buy them. |

Sennheiser makes fantastic headphones. For $120 bucks these have to be the best sounding headphones I've bought. They hit a huge range of sound. Great for Gaming and Home theater sound. They manage to reproduce bass at very low range for great movie theater feel on your ears. The construction of the cans are great really comfy and keep a great deal of sound from flooding in. Over all GREAT HEADPHONES!!! I will probably be ordering another pair for gaming. |

The only reason this other guy gave these such a bad rating is because the dumby probably doesn't have the sound card in his computer to match the amazing audio output these headphones give out. Next to the 595 these are the best headphones for gaming,music,or just browsing youtube. They are hands down the best headset available to your average computer user. Next best ones are the $1000 ones |

These headphones are just ''OK''. The price is way too high for such mediocre quality. I bought a pair of Sony headphones at Walmart for 20 dollars and they absolutely destroyed these headphones in terms of sound quality. Kinda sad, but that's the way it was for me. |

It amazes me that this pair of headphones had no reviews prior to this one. Overall, this is the best pair of headphones. These are perfect. They are extremely comfortable and provide an amazingly rich audio experience. I owned many headphones/headsets in the past from the Razer Barracudas to cheap $10 headsets from Walmart. For the money, you simply cannot go wrong with the HD555's. Also, if you need a microphone (these don't have a microphone on them), you can easily purchase a USB microphone like I did. One more thing. I previously had the Sennheiser PC-350 gaming headset. Although it costs more, it simply doesn't compare to the audio quality coming out of the HD555's. Don't pay all that extra money just for a microphone. I can easily point out every single feature I love about this pair of headphones, however, TigerDirect limits me to 1,000 characters. If your looking for something to put over your ears, no matter what the case, BUY THESE. RIGHT NOW! |
