Excellent drive and fast. Never had a problem in over 2 years running drive intensive software in an open air chassis, with a fan on the drive at all times to keep the drive temperature low. |

Too many of these drives fail for them to be recommended. Mine died after 2 years. Still under Seagate warranty and subject to free replacement, but still... |

I installed it as my primary drive, from day 1 it makes a clicking sound. Got worried about the data, now Im using it as backup drive. |

I bought one of these hard drives due to the low price and size. I absolutely love it, have been running it since early July and it hasnt done anything odd. Nice and quite as well. Would recommend to others and i WILL be buying seagate hard drives in the future |

I wanted to use it as a backup hard drive. I used only 20GB. Since I installed it Windows would keep scanning the hard drive as I started up the system. Now it has died. My back up gone ! Good thing I used an older hard drive to back the stuff as well. |
