The adesso touchpad is very small; much of the area is for useless specialized functions. I had a different brand that I spilled coffee on; this was not a good replacement. |

I returned the Item because the buttons on the touch pad were dead and the install disk with the 'drivers' on it was Blank - Pad still did not work (dead buttons) even after I downloaded the drivers from adesso's web site - I've used Cirque touch pads for years and have never had any problems - I will NEVER buy Adesso again as I have had to return every Adesso product I've tired, the touch pad was thier last chance and they still blew it - should have known better and just got a Cirque |

This is the only computer appliance I've had and still use exclusively for over 9 years. The thing won't die or falter. It has a sequential connection which, as I upgraded my computer, I had to apply a ps2 interface cable. I use the mouse software that comes with the operating system. I bought it for games on my home computer and then bought another one for work---network engineering. I've been through win 95, 98, 4.x, 2000, and xp and will use it for 7. It takes a day to get used to but worth it !!!!!!!!! |

Features
- Tap zones: Both "left" and "right" click functions can be activated by tapping on designated areas of the pad. It's easy to detect the "right" click area of the pad thanks to the subtle change of pad texture and color.
- Drag, draw, highlight: Double-tap and hold your finger on the pad, or hold the left button as your finger glides to grab, drag, and highlight any item on-screen.
- Scroll: Quickly activate vertical scrolling by gliding a finger along the touchpad edge.
- GlideExtend: Edge-extending features make it easy to keep moving the cursor after you've run into the touchpad's edge. Virtual buttons, sounds, speed, sensitivity and orientation settings can be customized via Cirque's driver.
