You have to point the keyboard at the transmitter to work properly and my keyboard is 180 the opposite way. I had to purchase a USB 2.0 over cat5e extender so I could plug in the transmitter by the television. Primary use is Windows Media Center |

I needed a keyboard with sufficient range to handle my media center PC. After playing with it for a bit, I was so impressed that I bought two more, and am using one for class presentations. This does what it says it will. |

This keyboard and trackball is a fantastic idea for the HTPC. Works good most of the time, although it does miss the odd keystroke if it is sitting in my lap. Has froze a couple times, but nothing major. The trackball is fairly accurate after tweaking the mouse settings. Battery life is great, I still have the originals in since I got it 3 months ago. If this thing didn't miss key strokes, it would be perfect.

i just do not like it. the track ball is jerky and very inaccurate i have to press down on the ball to even get it to move at all. i have adjusted the pointer speed and it helps a little this thing is fine for a toy. but if you are a serious user it tends to waste a lot of time. fiddeling with the ball and with dropped letters when you type too fast. i wonder if adesso is owned by hasbro or playschool. |
