WOW, WOW, WOW! I upgraded from a D-Link 802.11B PCI adapter that has never been anything better than lackluster performance even to the point of thinking I had a defective product. A few months ago I upgraded to the WRT300N router and today I installed this PHENOM. CNET Bandwidth test shows 8X-10X improvement. I no longer wait for my email to download. By the the time I get to the Inbox, it's ready to read. Something that used to take up to 5 minutes. My PC is on the 2nd floor and the router is downstairs and this does not appear to effect the performance. Easy to install and a dream to use. Thank you Tiger & LinkSys!

Works very well. My signal strength isn't any better than with the G system I was using, but my connection speed is up from 54 Mbps to 130 Mbps.

Alright, I started off with -very- negative feelings about how there is no support for 64-bit systems. Apparently ''Certified For Windows Vista'' does not include 64-bit systems. After going to their website, I saw that under the 64-bit drivers section, Linksys has ''TBD'' for their lineup of 64-bit-based drivers.
But! The 32-bit drivers worked fine, it seems. After doing an initial scan of nearby AP's, I noticed that the signal strength for my 11G router is about the same while an AP for a neighbor of mine jumped up to full strength! Whoa.
Doing some preliminary speed tests, my old connection (Wireless G PCI card), I would consistently pull about 12000 kbps via Speakeasy.net. Switching over the my nifty Linksys Wireless-N USB Card I can now pull 17200 kbps - connected to a wireless G network. My upload speeds went from 780kbps to 1500kbps, once again on a wireless G network.
I have yet to try out its capabilities with a wireless N router, but I imagine that it would be

I got this after upgrading from wireless N. I don't have a Gb ethernet card, just the basic 100 Mbps, this thing is blazing fast! I'm getting 300 Mbps and 160 on a LOW signal. It's such an incredible peice of technology. I've never been happier with a purchase. Great thing to have. I encourage everyone to buy THIS USB adapter.

I was always sceptical about wireless networks. My whole house is networked with a total of 7 devices. I wanted to buy the Linksys WMP300N pci adapter but after the reviews I changed my mind and gave the WUSB300N a try. All i can say is that it was a big surprise and the performance is excellent. I would recommend anybody if you want to go N get this adapeter. You can either put it directly to you PC or use the provided base as a stand or against the wall. It also comes with two usb cable extenders a short and a long one. Near my house there 4 houses that uses wireless routers and I see them all 2 of them are unlocked. If i wanted to do bad i could but I won't. This card even accepts g and b routers signals.
