I'll call it ''old faithful''. Although no where near the highest performing AGP card, this card has been very reliable and stable. Upgraded to an HD3850 (which blows it out of the water) but will keep this card as a reliable back-up.

I just installed this video card yesterday and it works great. It was an easy install and there is no problem navigating around in setup. The only problem I ran into was related to the 4-pin power supply plug. My original video card on my HP a450y desktop did not require a separate power supply, so I tried to install the Diamond Radeon X1550 Pro without one as well. When I did so, I got a screen message telling me to connect the power supply. I then thought that I had a problem and was prepared to return the unit to Tiger Direct. When I called customer service, however, I was explained that the Diamond Radeon X1550 Pro did, in fact, require a 4-pin power cord before I could run the unit. After getting a good description of what to look for in my computer, I was able to connect a 4-pin power supply cord without much problem to take care of the situation. Highly recommended for value, delivery speed, customer service, and product performance.

I have to agree with the above poster. I am pretty much running the same old slow system as the above poster, but I have an equivalent AMD not Intel. This card has great performance for the price if ur just looking for a cheap good upgrade for a cheesy system. What I think is even funny is that I also replaced a old broke Geforce 5500fx. I recommend this card to anyone still using AGP.

Simply great! Easy to install and worked great with my HP computer. It's a 4 year old system with, 2.8 Pentium 4 processer, running XP,sp 2, and 1.5gb of memory installed and it works great. Plays all the games so far without any problems. Replaced a GeForce 5500 video card. For the money a great buy. The computer, the memory , and the old video card all came from Tigerdirect. They've made a believer out of me with price and speedy delievery.
