Bought this product about a month ago to connect my Blu-Ray player to my network. It was easy to setup and has been working great so far.

I am satisfied with this product since it is working for me now but the support I received from LinkSys was terrible. I did follow the directions on the CD but decided to call support when it ask for a password that was not explained in the instructions and I subsequently spent hours on the phone with LinkSys and finally gave up. I tried again the next day on my own and got it to work. BTW, the password was 'admin' and I should have guessed at that. Also, I have the print server wired to my wireless LinkSys router so I am not using the print server's wireless capability. If you buy this product, my recommendaton is to use the utilities that come on the CD, there are several, and not call for support.

This product sucks! And to top it all off the customer support sucks even worse. I spent 5 hours on the phone to have them tell me what I already knew, it doesn't work! Hand write your print jobs it will be quicker.

This WPS sucketh very bad!!! Save yourself some money and buy the Netgear WGPS606. It supports WPA with TKIP, hidden SSID, and MAC address lookup...not to mention it has four (4) LAN ports which act as a wireless bridge! I had many problems attempting to connect the Linksys to my network. Do not buy it!!!!

This product works as advertized. If you are tech oriented, but have never used one, you may get lost. I tried setup without following the instructions and without using the disk that they say to use to set up. Ok, I didn't understand. This device has to be set up, essentially, as a router. It will not function until you set it up with wired connection to your computer. You then need to address it (I think default address is 192.168.1.101) but they don't tell you that because they assume you will follow their instructions. If you do it the 'hard way' like I did, you even need to tell it the name of your network, etc. I probably would have been better off using the disk, but now I know and understand this product. It's a good one.

Don't know what all the fuss is about. Received the product, followed the CD's setup instructions and was up and running in ten minutes. The only hitch I had was in entering my password: a call to Linksys clarified that the setup procedure was looking for my router's userid instead, and the default was ''admin''. Linksys was very helpful, and the product's working perfectly.

I agree with the previous poster. I have nothing but issues trying to get this device to stay on a static IP address even though I set it to static in the web admin page. I have tried to manually set and use the wizard and each time I get a different issue trying to make this work properly. I have setup many print servers in my day from many different manufacturers and this one definitely disappoints. The only way I have it working wirelessly now is to have the ethernet cable plugged into my wireless router so a hard wired connection communicates with my wireless laptop by creating a new printer virtual port and hard coded the IP to the port. I even updated the firmware on the print server and tried two differnt laptops and three different wireless cards. One other issue I noted was that even though my Print server and laptop were on the same subnet, the print server software kept erroring with I needed to make sure the computer and the print server are on the same subnet

I've custom-built computers and networks for many years. I used to use Linksys products. They proved to be ''okay'' in most cases. This printserver sucks! It does not register on my network and the Bi-Admin is missing, so there is no way to configure it manually. I gave Linksys a second chance by buying this, but no more. It seems that a lot of people are having the same problems. Check Linksys forum and judge for yourself. I switched to Belkin and will stay with them. Incidentally, my network jams disappeared after switching to Belkin. They should have added the MAC address on the label as well as an IP address for web-based configuration.

Setup for the print server was straightforward using the setup CD that was furnished with the product, both the printer and wireless network were recognized. Rather than installing the print server driver on my machines (two Vista and one XP) I assigned the print server a static IP address during setup and then configured a TCP/IP printer port on each machine using the IP address of the print server. You do have to have your printer driver installed on each machine; Vista had it available but, I had to update the driver database on XP. The print server, so far, is working without incident and I'm very pleased with it's performance.

Had some hassle configuring. The option for WPA disappeared - literally disappeared. Came back after turning off for a few days. Once that came back, it worked like a charm.
