This is a very fast hard drive. Vista 64 rating was 5.9. It makes a little more noise then my old western digital drive, but makes up for any short falls with blazing speed.Great drive |

I bought 1 of these and am very happy with it. It runs great.very fast!i ended up getting 931 gigs out of it (was hoping for a little more)It does not run hot in my machine. would buy another!! |

Purchased 7 of these during the rebate period for a RAID 6E Server I was building (6+1). They do run hot, especially when stacked tight. I put them In a Supermicro 2U Server Case with removable HD Shuttles, and this thing has 4 fans that draw air through the HD's so they stay cool enough now. 2 Weeks of beating them, and all looks good. As others have said, they format out at about 930megs. Nice drive for the money. |

Great drive...no problems after a good week of hard use. The only thing I have noticed is that it seems to run a little on the hot side. Other than that I would highly recommend this drive, especially the price!!! |

I bought 2 of these and they were both DOA. Tiger was good because they refunded the money. |
