I received this card as a gift from my dad (he's a computer nut so he usually knows what he's doing when he orders things) and it turned out to be a piece of junk. It wouldn't run ANY store bought games, even with the graphics at their lowest settings, nor will it run many free download games. I can't even burn DVDs! Needless to say neither of us will be buying any more ATI products anytime soon, very dissapointed with this one. (I just got a nvidia GeForce 8600 GT and it works AMAZING, go with nvidia and forget Radeon.)

My first card worked flawlessly out of the box. ATI needs to seriously improve the catalyst but as long as you just run the video driver alone this card works great.
Only Con I have have with this is that TigerDirect is much more expensive with this card than other competitors. At least $50-$60 more in this case. Bought a second card to run in crossfire mode but had to go with a competitor.
Let's get that price down TigerDirect!

I picked this up as a cheap, temporary card, as well, and it works great. I don't play a lot of games, but I'm able to run Flight Simulator X at mid-high settings along with a Phenom Quad-core.

I picked this card up for $99 on boxing day and couldnt be happier. Overclocked the core cpu to 853mhz and memory to 1532mhz using rivatuner. if you try to increase clock past 855mhz your system automatically locks. excellent performance, can run most games maxed out (except crysis). great mid-range card to tide me over until i decide to invest in a hd 3xxx series.

I bought this card about 3 months ago. For the price and my current PC situation it was perfect. NO more critical errors on games. Getting 40 frames per second up to 75 fps on newer games (not crysis though). Great card for the price. Only negative is that the fan is fairly loud. Make sure u get it from VisionTek and not Diamond Multimedia, those really do suck.
