I used to own a LCD 19in, but I decided to upgrade to a wider screen. When I bought this one I immediately fell in love. This product is great for anyone wanting to go wider you'll definitely see the difference, especially for casual gamers. |

Before I brought this monitor I was concidering a 20'' high def monitor from ASUS. The Asus seemed like a good value but I thought that I could do better, not that the reviews for the ASUS was bad, but I buy for brand name and quality. I have brought numerous products from HP including a computer that has been working with no serious problems for 10 yrs. That kind of quality is hard to beat. Also I don't REALLY need a High Def monitor so I definitly went for quality. Botton line If you don't exactly need high deff ( which this HP is not that far off from--900P vs 1080P a diff of 180P and as fast as 5ms) then by all means go after quality and HP certianly has that!
P.S. 2 Dollar shipping and handeling does not hurt either! |

Old flat panel monitor went out, left me using the very old CRT monitor. Got this one and am very happy with it. Old flat panel was not a widescreen; like the widescreen much better. |

I got the package in great time, and the box wasn't even scratched! The monitor is amazing! The cleanness and crispness is so great its like directly looking at the object(rather than a monitor screen)! I love my monitor! |

Bot at their store in Ft. Lauderdale. Mainly was looking for a monitor to plug our laptops to when at home. We don't have a desktop computer.
I now see they have monitors online even cheaper than this - but felt comfortable buying a brand name. We paid $129 in the store - but, of course, had to pay sales tax.
I gave it 4 stars for "features" only because it doesn't have those found on more eexpensive monitors (speakers, more inputs etc.) |

I replaced an enormous CRT 19'' monitor with this one when it failed after 10 years. Boy I'm sorry I didn't do it a long time ago. I have a lot more space around my computing setup and the picture and color are wonderful. A great buy and performance for the price. |
