I needed an XP system quick. I paired this mobo with a Celeron E1200 & 2gb DDR2 and an insanely cheap 250gb SATA drive. Absolutely no problems. Not a killer system, but I didn't want or need one. Performs better than expected. Great price, fast shipping, no problems.
Good Board

DOA. Manufacturer service was a joke. Stay away from these boards, they're nothing but trouble. I'd give it less than one star if it were possible

ok, this is the 2nd time i've ordered a PCChips board...first one arrived DOA, and this one seems to have left a burn mark on the processor AND heatsink that i ordered with it after just hooking them up and turning it on, no OC involved.. now the thing won't even boot up...guess it's RMA for this board too...
My advice..stay away from PCChips boards..seem to be nothing but trouble...

This board will not work with a pci express video card installed on it. Contacting the company was a waste of time. Would not address the problem. If you buy this board or any pcchips board your on your own.

I got this CPU with a barebone kit to replace a old 1998 Computer, the shipping was NOT good at all. In the box was just paper with the PCChips mobo, Heatsink and the CPU. When I got this there was no Kingston 1024MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz that was not in the box or on the Packing Slip. There's more when I receive this order, they thought it was OK to show up at my girl Friends work with this after they had the right address and got my girl friends Boss to sing for it. Next time I will end up with something free maybe a $1500 PC if this happens again...
Update: Ram on it's way with the case.

Excellent basic motherboard. Installed Intel Celeron D 440, 2 gigs of Kingston DDR2, a Western Digital 500GB SATA hard drive, Western Digital 160GB EIDE hard drive, Lite-On 22X DVD burner, and an older EVGA nVidia 7300GS graphics card. Everything was 100% compatible... no hassles, no issues at all. Literally just slapped it together, turned it on and everything booted and performs flawlessly. There are some mild overclocking features on this board, as well as some basic manual memory tuning functions, although I haven't really messed with them much. Also keep in mind that this motherboard will accept most new LGA-775 processors, so future compatibility is solid. Also, for those people whining about overclocking features, remember there are some basic features that can be tweaked in the BIOS. If you really need something faster, then just spend $10 more and buy a faster Intel processor (it's not rocket science). Overall, this board does exactly what it says, and is very reliable.
