I had this board for 4 months and then it stopped recognizing ide or sata drives. I sent to biostar for warranty service and the sent me another one. A couple of weeks later, it starts again. Beware of this board!!!!

Excellent MOBO for $50. Along with GREAT customer service. Needed some help with BiOS when I first got it and the support was just amazing.
Obviously not top-notch but for $50, I'd say it speaks for itself.

nice motherboard... two thoughts, only has one ps2 port for keyboard. and no actual printer port, it has a printer header, which i have no idea how to use it if i actually wanted to hook up my old printer to.

Better than the other Motherboard we had here.
Loads Faster and with 2GB Memory installed you
get 318MB more Video Memory by 512 under an os.
So it totals to 830 MB video Memory.

DO NOT BUY!!!!! I bought this motherboard for a computer build it worked for 3-4 days . after that the front audio stopped working and i thought no big deal then i found out that the usb drivers were messed up and i couldn't hook up stuff like printers my phone(i have a palm and cant hot sync). so i found an update for the driver and installed it making it worse now it wont recognize a USB mouse and with no ps-2 mouse port i cant use one meaning i cant log in so like i said DO NOT BUY

This has to be the worse stuff I've ever bought. I have built many computers and so It is not like I had made a mistake but every single board I bought was DOA! I went through 3 of these boards and then eventually just bought an Asus which immediately started working. Do not buy Biostar products...either they are excessively faulty or they might have just had a bad batch of these motherboards but I had to go to Tigerdirect 4 times and it really wasn't pleasant.

Motherboard works well after resolving subtle problem. The spread spectrum option is set to on as a default value and the manual does not cover this setting. This may cause lockups with quad core processors. If you experience random lockups set this BIOS value to off (or disable) and see if this cures the problem. The manual needs to cover the BIOS settings but does not.

First board ordered came DOA. But Tiger was right on the ball with a replacement board. Great Job Tiger. Second board installed just as one would expect. Drivers installed great. Even saw my cloned drive with just a few small glitched. Nothing that couldn't be overcome. Good board for the value. Fast shipping from Tiger is my reason for coming back for all my needs.
