I needed a multi-functional visual output system that would allow me to both watch basic television and also allow me to me play my video game system in crisp HD. I also wanted something that would help me maximize my energy savings both for my pockets but also for the environment, this monitor has 3 energy saving settings. I didn't want to spend 1,000's on my limited budget and this monitor-HDTV MORE than delivered. When I get more money I would definitely consider buying a larger version of this product. |

I did quite a few product & price comparisons before purchasing.
This was definitely the best quality & value for money that I could find.
One small technical shortcoming has to do with speaker output.
If you want to run your computer audio through the monitor, it is possible, but the only way to improve upon the built-in monitor speakers, is to connect a pair of powered speakers to the Headphone Output jack.
The catch is that even though this setup works fine, it does disable the monitor speakers.
There is no other regular audio output other than the Optical Out which requires an amplifier tuner connection.
That's a long way to go just to improve upon the admittedly tinny sound coming from the somewhat anemic monitor speakers.
Otherwise, I am quite pleased with the product quality & vendor's pricing shipping.
Definitely a best buy. |

I researched this purchase extensively considering the relative cost, and I was not disappointed at all! Excellent quality! Easy to set up! Almost all cables (no HDMI or DVI adapter for Macs). The quality is exceptional; picture fantastic; great viewing angles. I use it exclusively as a monitor for my laptop, but it's nice to know that it is a full-service TV if the spirit moves. You will not regret this purchase! |
