I purchased this to use as a third computer monitor at my office and couldn't be happier with the ease of installation and clarity of picture! It's great for doing client presentations at my desk! I'm thinking of buying another one for home use! |

Good monitor but not TV functions

The LCD picture quality is good. But the color is not right when you switch between analog and digital channels. If I set the correct color setting for analog channels then I would have bad color for viewing digital channels. I have one Toshiba 42 inches HDTV without any problem to switch between analog and digital channels; so I think this is Samsung's problem. Also, the TV remote has a strange sharp. After I turn off the light, it's hard to figure out if I'm holding the correct diction or not. The remote is not bedroom friendly or I should say is not dark room friendly. |

I was alittle worried when the original manufacturer's box came from UPS without an outter box to protect it, but was glad to see the TV was packed well inside and there was no damage (whew!). We hooked it up easily - it is very lightweight, has a swivel base, and it picked up all the cable channels as well as some Over The Air Channels with no problem. I haven't tried it as a PC monitor yet. The sound is so-so but we plan to move it to the office with the PC and external speakers. We are using it in the bedroom now until I get a new TV in there, and it works great! |
