It's just been about 48 hours since I installed this into my MacBook Pro. It just took 48 hours for it to arrive at my house as well. After 2 days of use, I love it! It performs very well! It has sped up my MacBook Pro (moved up to 7200 RPMs) and double my hard drive space for a low price (thanks TigerDirect!) Highly recommend this drive. It is very quiet. I actually noticed that it is quieter. Makes me wonder if it is actually working - but it is! It may be running a little warmer than my previous drive but nothing to scare me away from recommending it to you. Go for it! You won't regret this purchase!

Seagate drives have always been my favorite brand. Some time ago (actually a long time ago) I bought a Seagate drive with a whopping 20MB (u read it right 20MB) in a standard 5.25 format for $799.00. I am sure glad that prices have come way, way down. I would have never dreamed that you can get a 320 GB for so little money. All of this leads to one observation - you can't go wrong with a Seagate drive - all the drives I have used have lasted for as long as I used them. I've have never encountered a problem with any one of the ones I had in the past.
I installed this drive in a Macbook and it works flawless, faster (at least I think so) and with lots of space left (1 partition). Compusa buying is also flawless - will get more stuff here that's for sure!!!

7200rpm and 16MB Cache made my Acer 5920G go from awesome to amazing!! Super fast drive, increased boot times and scorching speeds in extracting large split rar files. Can't beat the price and value!! Highly recommended!! I DJ online and seeking songs takes picoseconds!!

Great Drive Performance----Big upgrade from slower drive in the macbook and speeds Leopard up very well---yep u end up with 297.97 GB total drive space due to the binary config on all drives u never get actually get all drive space labeled on the drive...been running everyday for past few months of owning and havn't had issue---makes applications much quicker like imovie , not very power consumption or heat up...seagate has done will with there warranty

EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE in MACBOOK PRO - installed this in less than 20 min - the longest part was getting the screws in and out - the drive itself was in the MacBook Pro in 10 sec, literally! This drive has HUGE space - after formatting the drive will give you 297.97 GB pre OS install. After I cloned my old drive with Carbon Copy Cloner (google it, its a free and EASY hard drive cloner). I have about 250GB of free space after cloning my OS X configuration. Performance is EXCELLENT - very quiet drive - has a 16MB cache!! Do yourself a favor - stop reading this and buy the drive - you'll love yourself more for it! =)
