I got this product a couple of month ago; I was kinda disappointed. The speakers are not loud enough. As matter of fact, I can bearly hear the music if I am one room away from the speakers. On the other hand, this might come quite in hand if used in an office where one can hear clearly the music.

I got them in 3 business days (5 days as the weekend was in between)
hooked them up popped in the CD installed the software they worked.
Whats not mentioned is that they are 4 watt per channel and are loud enough for most uses.
seeing that future shop still sells these for 69.99 this is a bargain !!!
I highly recommend these even for a PC (especially if you have a bad on board sound card)
works great with any mp3 player as well as it has a 3.5 aux jack (stereo patch cord not included) |

These sound amazing for the size, and I am very picky about sound quality. The remote is a very nice feature too, controls your Itunes or media player and volume, plus no fat power adapter to find a place to plug in. Can't beat it at the sale price! |

These speakers have an average midrangey sound with an upper bass peak. Thus, at first they sound better than normal speakers, but when you listen, you can hear that the high and low ends are missing. So they pretend to be full range, but don't deliver the goods.
They are 2 or 3 times as tall as and fatter than basic PC speakers. Also, the remote control only works if you install the included driver software. I didn't do this because I'm using these with my work PC and don't want to install unnecessary software on it. So I think I would have been better off with regular speakers.
The speakers are handsome with satiny speaker cloth all around and glossy black finish otherwise. I think they will show dust more than average.
However, I really like the USB interface. This means one wire from PC to one speaker, and another wire connecting the two speakers. No power adapter or batteries required! This just about makes up for the other issues. |
